Fist Oriole This Year

Yesterday at around 5:15 PM I had the pleasant chance to see the first oriole in my yard this year. He dropped down to drink from one of three bird baths that I have in my backyard. It was a male. What a gorgeous bird. He then flew to the top of one of my oak trees and began singing his beautiful song. That made my evening. Hopefully the rest of the pack is coming soon.

I saw my first Oriole of the year April 12th. They are such lovely birds and its always a sure sign of spring when they arrive here.
