Do birds eat 'Seaberry' Hippophae rhamnoides berries?

I was browsing through a catalog and was wondering if seaberry would be worth while for me to plant.

Don't auto reply--- Birds do notably fielfare in Europe. Naver tasted. I wonder about real sea buckthorn. Never tasted them iether. I know a woman in Holland that has it. Has not complained about them & she prefers edible landscape.
