wild turkeys

We have an abundance of turkeys in our yard which I don't mind at all. I'm concerned because one of them, maybe more, come up to our exposed basement patio window and bank on it with their beak. Yesterday I saw a good amount of blood on the window so I know one hurt himself doing all that banging. Anyone know how to get them to stop? I feel so bad for it.

It sees itself as another turkey and is defending its territory.

Put something over the window so it can't see its reflection.
