Hi everyone,

This morning, I looked out at my hummingbird feeder and saw a little hummer. I looked later, and it was in the same position......and stayed that way for quite awhile. I was worried for it, so went to check on it. Fortunately, I had the sense to bring my dog in first.......because as I was going to sit on the deck to just watch it, it squeaked and fell to the floor! I picked it up and it was alive. I carried it around in my hand for awhile, around the yard, trying to decide what to do with it. It jumped out a few times, and just laid on the ground. I took it back to the deck and brought the hummer feeder to it, and it drank and flew up into the tree! It was so neat to have that little thing in my hand! Hopefully, it spent the day practicing flying, and is doing well! What a neat experience!
