Vultures?

| Earlier this year there was a discussion on the types of vultures normally seen. Since then I have spotted no turkey vulture(the kind with red waddles around head). Has anyone seen any of the carrion eatting fellows and if so where? |

| I have a TON of them here in West Michigan. Hubby puts his fish guttings out for them and we often see 25 at a time. I have yet to find a nest. |

| I still see them soaring overhead once in a while but they don't congregate on the lake shore like the did in cooler weather. Wish they'd come to my house, it smells like something died in my shed! |

We have both turkey and black vultures. They soar overhead, catching the thermals, and clean up the roadkill. Bless their little stinky-breathed hearts! We have them year 'round and are grateful for the clean-up work they do. |
