Mystery Night Bird

This bird's been buzzing around our neighbourhood making a racket every night for about a week now. Does anyone out there know what kind of bird this is? It's so dark I'm not able to see it, but tracking it's sound, it's clearly flying in a circle about 1 block in size.

I captured the sounds and posted them on youtube:

Folks over at birdforum identified it for me. It's a Common Nighthawk.
