fish in pond with blue tail?

Ive been seeing these fish in a pond at the park, and their kind of weird. The fish are hardly noticable until you see the flash of their tail.Their tail has like a teal color on them. i have been trying to find out what they are but i cant find anything about them. what are they? if anybody knows can you please tell me? I live in North TX. sorry i dont have any pics

There is a ponding forum here on Garden Web. You may have much better luck getting an answer there. It is a pretty busy forum where this one is pretty slow.
