Hi:
I don't know what is going on in my garden this year but I have little critters. I wake up every morning to holes and tunnels around the yard. One of my hostas has been eaten.
Early morning, I see at least two chipmonks. They seems to be living under my hostas. They are really cute and fun to watch so I haven't done anything about them.
I also have shrews. I saw one in the yard and wasn't sure if it was a mouse or shrew. I then saw a dead one, a cat most of gotten it, so I saw the teeth and knew it was a shrew.
Which animal is making the holes and tunnels. Do any of these eat hostas? Should I set traps or just leave them alone.
