pigeon eating all my bird food

I have more then 20 pegeon in my backyard everyday and they are eating out of my bird feeder i have some sunflower in a plate on the ground for them but they keep going to the bird feeder any ideas on what to do

| Hang feeders without a tray-with pegs only. That should keep them feeding from what you put on the ground, although they may attempt to land, they won't be able to perch for long. Oh, and that is a spectacular photo! |
