Mia: Just drooling over your pictures again. I love the pond. It is so nicely integrated into the landscape that it looks natural. Do you get lots of mosquitoes where you are? I'm concerned if I ever put in a pond, I'll have loads of mosquitoes. (I know nothing about ponds, but have always wanted one). I also wondered if you get herons and racoons with it? I don't have an overabundance of racoons at the moment and don't really want to create too much attraction.

I was curious about the pond and bugs too. I would love to have a water feature, but am worried about mosquitos.

I currently have a blank slate in my backyard, but just no vision. You obviously have a gift for making natural looking landscapes. I don't know how to get started. How did you go about planning that?
