 o
wolf spider question

Today I saw a wolf spider with babies riding on her abdomen. My question is how are they getting food? They are all crowded on there and not hunting so what are they eating?

scraps of what the mother kills and smaller insects that are large enough for them but too small for the mother.

So they are getting off her and getting back on? Seems like that many childrens would be hard to corral.
