Lots of people....some of my friends right now are gathering,drying,cracking and then selling or using them in baking for cookies,breads,salads,etc. I can't do that anymore so today I bought a package.

If you want to eat black walnuts it helps to allow to age in the husks. The husks are really gross but the flavor is stronger if you allow them to stay on a couple of weeks to a month.

If anyone know the type of fly? the maggot turns into please tell me. I do not believe it is the common housefly.

Squirrels

I haven't seen anything other than the squirrels eating them.......and my dog Suzi!
