| My sister in California (near San Francisco) complain that some critter has snapped and carried off her sunflower heads. What creature would do this?

| Kids and deer go for the smaller headed ones. Thiefs go for the big headed ones for decorations. Sorry to say some idiots think that if a plant is no longer blooming it is trash and free for anyone to take. Or so it was explained to me when I asked why the woman took my seedhead. |
