| I put up a bird feeder. Squirrels attack and empty it in an hour.
I install a baffle like this:
This work for 5 minute. The Squirrel climbed down the chain, slipped over the baffle into the feeder. To fix this issue, I then slipped a plastic tube from a seed package onto the chain. Now squirrels attempt to climb the chain, slip on the plastic tube and fall to the ground.
Unfortunately, this does scare the bird when the squirrels go over the baffle. With half a dozen squirrels, this happens really often. The exception seems to be the chickadees' who seem ignore the falling squirrels. This has so far been effective except for that one Squirrel who managed to jump from the ground to the feeder (that's like 6 foot!). I have move the feeder up a bit higher to see if this will resolve the issue. These squirrels are a real pain! Paul |

| In an attempt to distract the squirrel, I installed a bungee squirrel feeder, but of course the annoying squirrels ignore the corn unless it is within easy reach. |

| Yeah, but look at how all this keeps you out of trouble!! LOL. |
