I have a couple wild bunnnies that have been coming to the spot we feed the deer corn. This morning there is one out by the woodpile and it seems to be eating some of the black oil sunflower seed that have fallen from the bird feeder. We are in the middle of a deep freeze and are getting pretty deep snow. I am getting ready to make the 30 mile treck in the snow to load up on groceries. I was wondering what I could get for the bunnies to help them get through this weather. They must be having a hard time finding enought to eat or they would not be out at this time or in these areas. I make a suet for the birds with lard, peanut butter, and oatmeal to help them out. Is there something that is super nutritious I can make for the bunnies?
