Squirrels mating

The squirrels here are already starting the mating chases. Normally I see one or two trying to advance the season in January but normally not this early. So far we have not had snow or any really cold days, couple of lower 20's but that is all. Other than I don't want loads of snow like last winter the northern states could send some of the excess they have been having this way.

Thanks, starting tomorrow we are supposed to receive 5-8 inches of snow between Sunday and Tuesday evening. When I looke at radar a little while ago it showed a solid band of snow. Probably not hitting ground but is on radar.

Have hot chocolate and pet food so I am set.

Are grey squirrels running around at night at present ? I get wakened up this last week nearly every night by skippety noises and fast tapping in the attic, or on the roof, its hard to tell.
