Hi,
When is the first frost expected for zone 8 in east texas? I know this is the hot summer but just thinking ahead for my plants.

| Give your County Agent a call, he can give you this information. Look under Texas Extension Service in the phone book. I'm near Austin and the first frost is not till November 14 here. |

| Even better, post your question in the Texas Gardening forum. Its very active and you will get lots of responses to your question. Its also great because no one looks down their nose at you if you ask a "dumb" question. Everyone seems to just enjoy discussing the latest question. As you can tell I really enjoy the Texas Garden forum. |

| you can also go into one of the farmer's almanac web sites, find your area, then anticipated first frost date. |
