We are considering a tour of Long Island within the next couple of weeks. Could you recommend some things to do, places to see, and lodging (maybe tent camping or modest motels) that will not break the bank. I will be traveling with my brother and four year old son so the lodging doesn't need to be extravagant. We are trying to squeeze every last drop of pleasure out of the summer.
