| I thought i posted yesterday but now cant find it. But i want to plant some beets and carrots and did not know if this is too late to put the seeds in the ground. if it is, is their something else i can plant this late into september? I have read where once they start growing I can put straw on my beds and hold in some of the heat and not allow them to frost too much. |

| I'm farther south than you are and don't really know your zone but I planted beets and carrots the last week of August and they are doing amazing and I probably have another month before they finish. I posted a link below that might be helpful to you for next year. |
