What can I plant besides Pansies?

I am in zone 7A and am looking for companion plants for my annual beds and containers to plant with pansies. Are there any other plants that will last through the winter?

It is useful to see what other gardeners in your area plant for overwintering but here are a few that I might plant alongside pansies and would probably be ok in a Z7 climate.
I'm assuming late winter and spring flowering.
Myosotis (forget-me-not)
Helleborus (hellebore)
Scilla - bulbs
Polyanthus
Tulips - bulbs
Muscari - bulbs (grape hyacinth)
Crocus - bulbs
Narcissus - bulbs
Galanthus - bulbs (snowdrop)
Fritillaria - bulbs (fritillary)
Eranthis - tubers (winter aconite)

Iceland poppies
Snapdragons
Dianthus

Go to a good nursery and see what they have/suggest. Herbs like parsley and rosemary make good companions.

I like to plant swiss chard, ornamental lettuce and kales, mustard and parsley.
