RE: some veggie questions

Maybe we can learn together-I'm wanting to grow greens in a cold frame this winter since I have heard this works really well. I'm in zone 6b though which gets quite a bit colder than where you are. I'm wondering if you couldn't grow more than just greens in zone 9-don't really know for sure. Check out the seed trading forum. There are some wonderful people there who have tons of seeds to trade with or send for SASBE. That is where I've gotten most of my seeds to start in the cold frame. Possibly they can give tips as well. Good Luck!

The Texas Cooperative Extension Service can probably answer a lot of your questions.
