| I'd like to start learning and doing winter gardening. I live in a mobile home, in NC winters can get quite cold here(not like up north etc) so where do I start, what plants do I use, and what containers(plastic bottles..2liter drink bottles??)
So advice away!! |

| Hi. Welcome to gardenweb. 2-liter bottles make great planters, just be sure to put drain holes in the bottoms. About anything that can handle getting wet and will hold dirt can work as a planter. Your question is pretty vague, so I'm not sure what kind of advice you are looking for, but am glad you're here. If you have some seeds you'd like to grow, you may be interested in winter sowing. There is a forum here for that. And there is a container gardening forum. Checking out some of those discussions might give you some ideas. |
