Winter Garden Blessing

I have taken no pleasure from my garden since Sept. 11. My back porch offers a view of the NY skyline and I watched the smoke for days. Every time I have gone on the porch since then has been a reminder of that terrible day and I have avoided my garden.
Christmas morning I went out to check the temperature and found my climbing Peace Rose with a beautiful flower framing my view of the skyline. Now it's ok to go into my garden again. |

Glad to hear that you have begun to heal a little. Everybody is so different in how much time and what environment it takes to begin to mend from a tragedy. I went right out to the garden and spent a lot of time there, but I didn't have your view and proximity.
