A most welcome December gift. Beautiful!

I had an antique and collectibles shop for many years and was told by more than one person never to buy for resale prints or paintings of snow or Winter scenes. I was warned that no one would buy them. Since I love white and especially snow scenes, I didn't listen. Always sold (with reluctance) every Winter scene print and painting I ever bought. I am reminded of that by this forum which I welcome with open arms. If you can't see beauty in a Winter garden, IMHO, your garden vision is less than 20/20.
Thanks for this forum. |

| Good thoughts gumbycat. Gardening is definitely a 12 month endeavor where our brains must not be turning off just because the days become shorter. I am always thinking of adding more winter interest without eliminating valuable space of the "summer" garden. As recently as a week ago (before the cold weather set in) I lined the front walk and part of one side with pavers to help break up the straight line effect of the concrete. |
