I hate to do this to youguys who live in colder zones. I was doing some cleaning outside today and i came across my lilac bush which is leafing out. Lilacs are really sad things in my zone, its not cold enough. They bloom, but because there is very little winter chill, they bloom weakly. either way, i should be smelling lilac blooms by the end of January.

| Well guess what. I was trimming by plants today and noticed the top of one of my lilacs started to leaf out too!1 And I live in New England. Now I am wondering if that spoiled the chances for flowers on that shrub for next year? Plants are something ha. They are always pullings suprises on us! |
