Anyone have some thoughts on this?

I have a friend who lives 20 miles to the north of me, which is

central Wisconsin. she claims to grow the elephant ears plant outdoors, and

leaves it out year round.

Do you know where someone might purchase such an item?

The catalogs that I have, list it from zone 5, I think, and perhaps

with very heavy mulching it might ease thru here?

I would love to try this bulb, just too pricey to risk the loss is what

I am saying. Do you think it would be worth a try? Too much open winter here.

I know that I can go to an Asian grocery and get some tubers, but they wouldn't be hardy through the winter here. What do you all think?
