The local PBS station has been showing 'The Life of Birds' by David Attenborough.

The first episode showed all the amazingly different efforts these birds go thru to take flight. Some even have to climb trees and lauch from a tall limb. Last nights episode explained the various ways they eat. i.e. sap , fruit, bug, and flesh eaters have all evolved in different adaptions suitable to their chosen food. Some symbiotic relationships pair one bird to one tree only.

Just astonishing.

Any show that involves the efforts of David Attenborough is well worth the time. This is one I may even buy.
