While wandering my gardens yesterday I noticed that about 15 of my bulbs have sprouted. I understand bulbs sprouting in later February, but before the Superbowl???

I suspect some of them had sprouted in January! Most were Crocus and some bulbs I planted last fall that I didn't label (suspect wind anemones).

I'm hoping the bulbs won't die out by any cold waves that go through.

I've only been gardening 3-4 years but this seems very unusual. The bulbs have a South facing, by an unheated pool away from the house.
