Science Fair

Hi everyone! I could use some help coming up with a idea for a 4th grade science project for my granddaughter. I was thinking seed germination. The fair is in 4 weeks so if anyone has any ideas as to what to plant that would show the most growth and respond the best to different condition's I sure could use your help. I do have a full spectrum light but we heat with wood so the house temperature is between 65 and 85. Thank you for any ideas.

I think most people do beans (for whatever reason.) Typically they also use dixie cups as pots. Different degrees of light, amounts and types of water, different temperatures, sowing depth, different types of soil (or soiless) mediums. Showing on poster board with different variations of these differences. The wood heat might actually help you because some areas of the house are warmer than others.
