Hi from Kewaunee county

We built a house, 2 years ago, on 20 acres in southern Kewaunee county. It is always beautiful here. We got a good garden going last year and, of course, are planning for this spring. Has anyone taken the Master Gardening course? How involved is it? How much of a time committment?

Hi Claraserena,
Welcome! The master gardener course is well worth the time. You will have to to equal community service to the time that you spend learning. I really enjoyed it however time did get to be an issue for me. If you do the minimum education and service it's no problem. If however you start a project of your own you will find that you spend MUCH more time than what is required. Also know that all master gardeners are not created equal. Every state is different and there are master gardener programs that are not associated with your county extention too, so everyone that says they are a master gardener does not have the same background.
