starting a container with annuals now?

I got the bug yesterday and drove to Ebert's Greenhouse Village in Ocomomowoc. I went home and planted up a wrought-iron planter with imatiens, fuchsia, tuberous begonias, and new guinea impatiens (all white flowers). I put it on the south side of my house (afternoon shade) and wrapped the whole thing with 2 layers of row cover - going for a mini-greenhouse effect. What do you think? Will it fill out and be beautiful by June 1st? I'm zone 5, in Racine county, about 12 miles from the lake.

I plan to put it in a shady corner of my yard. (The planter was a freebee from the dump!!)
