I would imagine that a number of people are aware the the PBS program, "The Wisconsin Gardener".

One program had a 'winter arrangement' with peonies, in it.

The person interviewed, said that he had picked the peony before it opened and hung it upside down and it was still in good shape for this arrangement.

Does anyone have any experience with this. It would be good to prepare for this as peony season comes upon us...

Haven't tried it, but it is an intriuging idea. I have dried many of the bouquets that my daughter sends me for Mothers Day. I only stick it into a vase without water and wait for it to dry out. Have never tried the upside-
down stuff. I adore peonies, and will try drying in my usual method. Pondy
