Seeking blackberry and raspberry canes

Hi Guys !

wow, it has been awhile since I have been on here... any-who.. I am looking for blackberry and raspberry canes from someone in the area. I have done some research and feel triple crown (when protected over winter) and Chester are the best bets for the area. Not sure on the raspberries... Does anyone have any they are willing to share with me? Or could you point me in a direction to a local nursery with good stock?

I am also looking for asparagus... where can I get a good starter plant around here? Kenosha/Lake Geneva/Milwaukee area.

I have TONS of dahlia tubers if you would like to do a trade!

RE: Seeking blackberry and raspberry canes

I have black raspberries growing wild all over my property. If you want any of them you are welcome to them. Can't tell you a variety because they are mostly planted by birds. :-) They are tasty, though, and make fine eating or jam etc. I live in Racine County near I-94.

RE: Seeking blackberry and raspberry canes

Thank you!

I got some raspberry canes and I think I found a small patch of wild blackberries on the far end of our land. If they do not produce I will come on out with a shovel!

Thank you again
