Nice plant selection Karen. I was amazed to see the Tamarisk tree. No one in my West Bend WI home area has ever seen or even heard of one. I quite like it. So fine and whispy, and has movement in the slightest breeze.

I have some lovely things blooming, but to be honest what I like best is the smell in my yard right now. I go around and weed seemingly endlessly between planting things, but the whiffs of huge swaths of lilies of the valley, many lilac bushes, and an orchard of apple and pear blossoms, oh, it is exquisite! I will try to post something later with photos. By the way, I have one of those trees, too, no idea what it is called and mine isn't very healthy looking, but it is the same thing. My mom planted it years ago. I am in SE WI.
