dwarf apple trees not producing!

I have had 2 dwarf apple trees planted in my southern Wisconsin back yard for at least 4 years with no apples! I have had apple blossoms on them this year however. Does this mean I will have some apples this year? I am a newbie at apple trees,roses and tomatoes are my specialty. Thanks!

Apples should be forming by now, just ask daddylonglegs. The bugs are eating his. If there is no fruit forming do you have a)two different varieties of apples that bloomed at the same time or b) crabapples around? Apples are not self fruitful and need pollen from another type of apple to set fruit.

tj has a good point, Andrewlina. My 2 dwarf apples don't necessarily bloom at the same time. Since I have had my flowering crab, I have so many apples I could feed a 3rd World Country, LOL. Besides, they are so pretty. Maybe get one on sale at end of season?
