| Hi there. I'm new to the forum and gardening, so bear with me :)
I bought some butterfly bush seeds a few weeks ago (Seed Savers). I planted the seeds in small plastic starter pots and am cooling them in the fridge. They should be ready to come out in about 2 weeks and placed in the sun. Am I too late to be starting butterfly bushes in May? I've never tried this before. I've heard it could take 30-90 days to sprout. True? If so, I'm definitely too late. Should I give up or keep going? Thanks for your help & advice. Gash... |

| From googling "butterfly bush from seed," you're right....it takes 20-90 days for the seed to sprout. If you're determined to grow them from seed, you might want to pot them, and bring the pots inside, this fall. |
