Madison area heirloom tomatoes--where?

For years a lady with a farm stand has been providing me with my tomato seedlings. I was horrified to discover this year that she won't be doing it any more.

Where will I get my stupice? My mortgage lifter? My cherokee purple? My pineapple? My black krim?

I cannot make the farmer's market in Madison on Saturday mornings. I am about 10 miles south of Madision.

Anyone know a source for where I can get heirloom tomatoes?

Morningwood Farms has them, far westside of Madison, between Pine Bluff and MT Horeb. There is a coupon for a free one in this weeks Isthmus. 8910 Domini Road. They have a website listing tomato types(google search). A nice place, got mine there last year, going back there this week for more!

I got a mortgage lifter from Jung's on Northport drive...also, a couple of brandywines. You might give them a call and see what they have to offer this year. Good luck!

The Bruce Company (in middleton) sells seed savers plants. I think there is also a Farmers market on Wed mornings downtown. They may have many of the same plant vendors.

I believe Stoughton has a farmer's market...South Madison does, as well...I have not been to either market but I would assume they would have them, maybe too late for this year though.
