Blasted wind

Boy, this has been a tough spring for gardening.... first we get rain, rain, rain, rain followed by some cold. Then we finally get warmer weather but it's accompanied by 30mph winds. My poor Angel Trumpet nearly bit the dust yesterday because I neglected to bring it in (it's inside today on another blustery day). Also I just started tomatoes on Sunday and one of them is already looking wind sheared too. That one can't be brought in because the container is way too huge. Come on spring, get it together!!!

I agree---and now 90 on Friday! It's been a pretty frustrating spring. I start alot of my plants from seed so of course couldn't really starting harding them off til the last couple of weeks. I still have a lot to plant. I'm really hoping the weather could cooperate for a few days!

I feel your pain. I planted my garden Sunday and Monday. Tuesday the winds had some of my tomatoes whipped around so badly that it ripped some of their leaves. Luckily they were planted near a fence so that protected them somewhat. The wind also blew my new hummingbird feeder down and broke it. :( Now today is so chilly. Sure hope we have some calm, warm days in the near future!
