Nekoosa Pumpkin Drop Seed

Hi -

I am growing a seed that we received from the big pumpkin that was dropped during the Nekoosa Pumpkin Festival. I would be curious to hear from others that have tried to grow one of these seeds or any big pumpkins in the past. The plant is doing quite well and I will send updates as the season goes on. Does anyone know what type of pumpkin they dropped last year? It would be helpful to know what I am growing. I am currently feeding it fish emulsion about every other week, but would like to know anyone else's trade secrets. This is my first year attempting a GIANT one.

I've been to the nekoosa Pumkin drop a few years bad, there are some BIG Pumkins there!!!!!!!!! When I was there, they had a 100 Lb. Water melon!
