Thuja (Green Giant/ArborVitae) in Northern Wisconsin?

Does anyone have Thuja's growing well in Northern Wisconsin?

We live in the northern most tip of Wisconsin, bordering on upper Michigan and Lake Superior. Some maps have us as zone 4, others have us as zone 3. Where I live, Hardy Glads do NOT come back as a perennial, yet mums sold as annuals DO come back.

We live way in the toolies, yet an old highway is right out front and quite a few people use it as a shortcut.

My husband and I would like to plant Thuja's as everyone raves about their quick growth, heavenly smell and privacy factor. BUT, we do want to find out if anyone else in this cold area has had any success...

Thanks so much!!
