Rio and other garden tours

The Rio Library Friends are having their biennial garden and home tour on Friday June 29, 4-8 pm and Saturday June 30, 9-4. Map/tickets are $7, available at the library. I've wanted to be part of this tour for years, and this is the year!! I am working hard to mulch, weed and "fine tune," so you're all invited to come and see! (It won't be perfect, but it will be fun!) Rio is in Columbia County, located on Hwy 16 between Portage and Columbus.

Other tours I know of around here: Beaver Dam Center for the Arts is having a garden tour this Saturday, June 16.

Thyme Shares/Marquette Co Master Gardeners are having their annual garden tour on June 30 also.

Pardeeville Garden Club is having garden tour Saturday, July 14.

Becky - that is so exciting! Congratulations on being part of the tour. If you were a little closer, I'd go.

Hi everyone,
Our Rio Garden tour was last night and today--it was so much fun...and I am sooooo tired! We had wonderful visitors (est. 150+) and I am so thankful for the beautiful weather and great volunteers (my kids included!) who helped lead people around and chat about the gardens, and offered water and cookies.

If you have a chance to go on a garden tour/walk, do it! We all love looking at more plants and garden ideas.
