Anyone have annuals winterover? I did.

I had a large patch of snapdragons. I cut them down in the fall, and just left 3 inch stems. The stems and leaves stayed green all winter. I left them there so I would know where to plant again in the spring. Its a rock garden so I was saving that spot. They are in a south-east garden and get lots of sun in the winter. They are in full bloom now, and just as pretty as last year.
They were under tons of snow that I blew on them from the driveway. Anyone else have something winter-over that shouldn't have? Judy
