First Black Krim

In spite of the recent hail storm, I was able to harvest a couple of Black Krim, both of which I just had for dinner. I don't have a kitchen scale, but they were about 2 1/2" in diameter. Sorry, I was too anxious to take pictures(besides, they were pretty beat up looking). I'm not a connoisseur, but yum! I was suprised at how sweet they were(even the green shoulders). They really put the Stupice to shame, although even Stupice beats anything from the grocery store. I can't remember off hand who recommended I grow the Black Krim, but thank you!!

RE: First Black Krim

Good morning! DH swears that Black Krim has the finest texture of all--wierd looking, but just close your eyes, LOL!

I'm so glad they made it despite the storm. We had some big rain and wind this weekend, but aside from some HH and gloriosa daisy bending over, only the corn needed some propping up...
