Finally, tomatoes!

It seems like I've waited all summer for them to ripen. We have eaten some that we bought already potted and those plants are kaput, dead, gone now. Of my four in-ground plants, two are huge and lush and loaded, two in another spot are suffering somewhat, but we have gotten ripe and luscious tommies from 3 of 4. Brandywine still the best tasting by far. Buttered sweet corn and sliced tommies with fresh mozzarella, sliced, and EVOO and basil is my idea of a heavenly meatless meal. YUMMMM...
