I have some lilacs in 3 gal pots that I didn't get in the ground. Can I plant them now?

You can still plant deciduous plants (like lilac) now, although it would have been better earlier. Spring budbreak probably won't lag much, if at all, but expect slower growth.

thanks for answering! I bought these for 75% off and thought I would try to get them in last weekend, but didn't. I might just overwinter them in my garage.
