Pine Bark Fines

I would love to find a place that sells Pine Bark Fines or Fir Bark Fines in the Wisconsin Dells area. At least some place within an hours drive. I haven't found any in the Walmart or Home Depot or Menards in Baraboo. I have also looked at most of the other garden centers in the area with no luck. Does anyone know of a place I can find Pine Bark Fines (basically very fine ground pine bark which is sometimes sold as a soil amendment or as mulch)? If anyone knows of a place near the Wisconsin Dells, please let me know.

| I have never found it as " very fine ground pine bark "it is always too large . I get what Walmart or Home Depot supplies .Says" Pine Bark Mulch",get the smallest size pieces you can. .Pieces are larger than I would like. I can screen it and use the largest pieces for mulching the top of my containers, and the smaller( 1/2 inch or less)for my soil base .Some even run it thru wood chippers or lawn mowers to get to a smaller size. Some recomend Pet World for their Reptile bedding ,but its awfully expensive. |
