wild quinine parthenine integrifolium

I was considering add some of the wild quinine to my woods edge when I saw one note that it can cause skin rash. Does anyone know why? I assume it is a oil from the leaves, but what?

RE: wild quinine parthenine integrifolium

Maybe only some people have a reaction; I have been growing this for almost a decade in my prairie garden and have had no problems.

BTW, it is a full sun plant, maybe could take a little light shade, so don't plant it too close to the woods.

Here is a link that might be useful: Wild Quinine
