LANDSCAPE DESIGNConsider a Plant as Living Sculpture
If traditional garden art isn’t really your thing, plant living art instead
Full StoryThis tree (robinia pseudoacacia var rectissima L. Raber) is well reputed to grow straight and fast, increase soil fertility while doing it and produce highly durable wood suitable for fence posts that long outlast cedar or other locust woods. It is mainly propagated from root cuttings due to lack of seeds or seed viability. Native mainly in the North East. I wish to start a plantation on some rural family property and have been lucklessly searching for a source of cuttings.
If you have any clues for me about who I can aquire some from please email me nodnarb_a1ok(at)hotmail.com (replace (at) with the usual @ symbol) www.blacklocust.org provides good information on this particular tree but for some reason the fellow that runs it will not respond to my requests for some trees.
