Please ID this tree, all of the pics are of the same tree, I have many of them, don't know what they are.
Aiken county, SC 15 miles north of Augusta GA.

They look a bit like a type of Vaccinium. On the close up picture of the trunk, how big is that? Bigger than a pencil? Big around as a person's leg? Need some sense of scale.

Thanks for responding.
As big around as a persons leg.
The younger ones are much thinner, thinner than a persons arm.
They didn't bloom when the crab apples did, and they can get tall, about 15 feet tall.
They are pretty, but I'm dying to know what they are.
They are growing wild among maples, pines and blueberries.
