Woodlands, Community Gardens

My name is Gary Storm and I am forming a nonprofit organization to be called "Woodland Center for Environment and the Arts" (WCEA) in conjuntion with a "green" residential community being developed at Lake of the Ozarks in Central Missouri. WCEA will be a membership organization that promotes a variety of gardening programs and activities for its members, including community residents, residents in the wider geographic area, and members of the public at large. These programs and activities will include management of "natural areas" and development of a "community garden" and several "woodland gardens" using largely native plants. WCEA will also promote a number of arts-related programs and activities in the Lake of the Ozarks area. If you have an interest in learning more about WCEA or in helping organize it, please contact me.

RE: Woodlands, Community Gardens

Hi Gary,

Just wondering if you were able to get your woodland garden developed. If you are still looking for some woodland native plants (ginseng, goldenseal, bloodroot, mayapple, Jack in the Pulpit, Virginia snakeroot, wild ginger, black cohosh), then I may be able to provide some of these plants. Let me know, thanks.
